This evidence can vary depending on the nature of the family relationship, such as marriage certificates, birth certificates for children, or evidence of a lasting and exclusive relationship in the case of unmarried partners.<\/li><li><strong>Pick up visa at the Dutch embassy:<\/strong>\u00a0Upon approval of the visa application, family members must pick up the visa at the Dutch embassy or consulate in their home country. This visa allows them to travel to the Netherlands for family reunification.<\/li><li><strong>Obtain residence permit:<\/strong>\u00a0Once in the Netherlands, family members must apply to the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) for a residence permit for family reunification. This application is intended to give them permission to stay in the Netherlands for a longer period of time.
